My skincare ritual

Apply cream liberally before exposure to the sun, avoiding the delicate eye area.

Reapply regularly, especially after sports, swimming or towelling yourself dry. Not applying enough cream will significantly reduce the level of sun protection.

Precautions: Excessive exposure to the sun is harmful. Avoid the sun in the middle of the day. A sun cream does not offer 100% protection and use of sun cream must not encourage prolonged exposure to the sun.  Overexposure to the sun is a serious health risk. Do not expose babies and young children to the sun without protection

Tips for enjoying the sun:

- Wear proper sunglasses with a UV filter to protect your eyes from the sun

- If you have sensitive skin, wear the following in addition to your sun cream:

- A wide-brimmed sunhat that protects your ears, nose and forehead.

- Choose cotton, silk or polyester T-shirts as these fabrics offer the most protection.

- Wear dark colours which are better at filtering UV rays.

- Clothes that are wet after perspiring or swimming offer less effective protection. If you would like to swim with a T-shirt on, opt for special anti-UV treated fabrics.

-Drink plenty of water to prevent dehydration.
